POOCH PERFECT EVENT AT MERMAID QUAY 🐶
Mermaid Quay and Cardiff Bay is the pawfect destination for adventures with your four-legged friends with plenty of dog friendly places to visit.
During the May Half Term we are celebrating all things pooch perfect with two days of family fun for you and your pet.
WHAT’S ON?
Head to Tacoma Square between 12pm and 4pm on Tuesday 30th May for:
Free Face and arm painting between 12pm and 4pm on Tacoma Square
Free craft session between 12pm and 4pm on Tacoma Square
Purrfect Portraits – Free caricature drawing of you and your pet.*
* Free dog toy for participating pets (whilst stocks last)
Hope Rescue will be outside of Cadwaladers holding a bucket collection on Tuesday 30th May between 11am and 3pm.

Craft in the Bay 🎨
If you’re little once are the creative type, why not head over and them craft away.
Everyday from 10am till 5pm, we’ll have an arts and craft table in our gallery to families to be creative this half term.
No booking is needed, just drop in.
Please note this isn’t a supervised activity by the team – parents supervision is required at all time.

Techniquest 🔬
Techniquest, the incredible science discovery centre set on the waterside of Cardiff Bay, is open every day of the May Half-term holidays, from 10am – 5pm each day.
In addition to the 100+ hands-on exhibits that let you have fun while bringing science to life under your fingertips, there will be Star Tours in the Planetarium along with a Live Science Show Technispace: Blast Off! in the Science Theatre on selected dates that week: plus, a handful of Cosmetic Chemistry workshops will be running in the KLA Lab too.

Red Dragon Centre. 🧜🏽♀️
Drive into family fun at The Red Dragon Centre on Bank holiday Monday.
To celebrate the release of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid,” we’ll be making a splash inside the Centre with our free eco-friendly drop-in activities.
Between 12-4pm, little ones can contribute to the creation of an upcycled Mermaid sculpture, make a marine craft to take home, and meet the team from The Wildlife Trust to learn more about how we can keep our seas safe from pollution.
