Face Coverings.

Face coverings are no longer a requirement inside the hotel although some staff may continue to wear a face covering if they wish,

Culley’s Kitchen & Bar.

Restaurant bookings can be made in advance via our website or by calling 02921 991 904.

While face coverings are no longer required in hospitality premises, they must still be worn when moving through indoor public spaces to reach our bars, restaurants and cafes. They can then be removed when seated to eat and drink, or in your room.

Cleaning & Sanitising.

Robust cleaning and sanitising protocols, focused on High Impact Touchpoint (HIT) in bedrooms and public areas.

As before the pandemic we will continue to uphold the highest standard of cleaning within all area of the hotel, this will not change ,all public areas will be strengthened to focus on High Impact Touchpoint (HIT) cleaning as a result of the COVID 19 pandemic.

For stayover cleans for multiple nights’ occupancy are offered on a request basis only and guests must vacate the room whilst it is cleaned. If you require you room to be cleaned during your stay please let a member of the team know on check in.

Complaints and comments.

Any complaint or comment regarding a stay at one of our hotels should be made in the first instance to the hotel’s duty manager at the time of your stay so that it can be resolved at the time. Problems which cannot be resolved there and then should be notified to our Guests Relations Manager Paul Knight

Prices shown are not valid in conjunction with any other offer. Prices only include the items and services listed as part of the description. Prices do not include any additional services or products used. It is a condition of this contract that you authorise The Coal Exchange Hotel to debit your credit or debit card for the total cost of stay and any incidental charges added to your bill or the bill of your guests.

Guests with Impaired Sight/Hearing/Mobility or Specific Requirements.

The Coal Exchange is a fully inclusive hotel that has modified rooms for guests with impaired mobility, sight and hearing. These rooms are described as “Accessible Rooms” and should only be requested if required. Guests with impaired mobility, sight, hearing or other requirements should check with our Reservations Team in advance that their requirements can be met. This can be done via email or telephone.

Working From Home.

Some departments within the hotel will continue to work from home where possible, during theses times, you may hear some background noise when calling, please be patient with our team.
